AFRICAN MUSIC AND AMERICAN MUSIC RESPECT TOWARDS WOMAN

images

I always wondered why in America, will a woman in her right senses smile and take it as a compliment when his man or boyfriend whichever it is, calls her a bitch or a whore. I have seen this happen quiet a lot.

I also wondered why these woman will go around even boosting about being his bitch, not his bitch in fact his bad bitch, how she is a bad bitch and what not.

I also wondered why African females call themselves black queen, beautiful woman, all this beautiful names a woman will call her self in respect of her status in the community. Why an African woman will slap the hell out of a man who will call her a bitch, African woman i mean those who are educated but still not corrupted by the western lives or the so called “3rd world countries”. There is no how the word bitch can be used in a good way. Because they will say “don’t take this wrong you are a bad bitch in a good way”.

Oh really like wtf do u mean.

Well now i see this trend in Africa, you know Africans we like copying whatever Americans are doing, i think we think that is civilization. Our music is so changed. We call ourselves the N word, do u even know what it means.

It is not civilization to be calling women whores, bitches or cursing to make a song. This is the reason why i don’t listen to rap music.

Enjoy your Friday, i am about to go listen to rap music and sip some hot tea.

NOW I WONDER…MMHHHH

image

image

After I took these photos, I then sat my beautiful lovely behind down and I looked at these photos very closely and I said to my self.

1.why did I stop wearing my natural crown?
2. What inspired me to start wearing wigs and all this fake hair?
3. What was the main reasons that I choose that I look better in wigs than my own natural hair?
4. ALL THESE WIGS ARE FREAKING EXPENSIVE…

Well I never even got to answer this questions my self, they seem so hard to answer. I remember the first time I had a wig sewed in my head by a zimbabwean woman in maun by shoprite, she took me behind the shops we found a tree, where we found other zimbabwean women plaiting other women, it was painful sewing it in, and because it was my first time i was so anxious and curious. The more she tried to make the wig to look natural the more it hurt. Anyway they say no gain without pain.It took almost 3 to 4 hours, it was so uncomfortable to sleep on the first day and the care taking of these hairs extensions or wigs is just too much. I remember I had to wrap my hesd when going to sleep, comb it in a certain way to make me look good, and the most annoying thing is the scalp itching part and you can’t really reach it because there is no space to reach as it is a sewn in.

Now back to the photo, I am really loving my natural look and I think, I am going to be wearing this uniquely God given crown for a while because I totally look amazingly beautiful,  what do you, anyway it doesn’t matter because I know how I look BEAUTIFUL AFRICAN MOTSWANA WOMAN.

I love wigs and extensions, maybe I will one day get to it again, but not soon. I am not discouraging anyone from any hairstyles you want but again I always here women saying, they don’t look good with their natural hair, but again if you don’t give your natural crown a chance, how will you know. I used to be like all this women untill I lived according to me but to not to what people will think or judge of me.

SHOES LOVER QUOTES

image

I never wear flats. My shoes are so high that sometimes when I step out of them, people look around in confusion and ask, “Where’d she go?” and I have to say, “I’m down here.

Sometimes comfort doesn’t matter. When a shoe is freakin’ fabulous, it may be worth a subsequent day of misery. Soak in Epsom salts and take comfort in the fact that you’re better than everyone else.

1st DECEMBER WORLD AIDS DAY

image

THE 2013 THEME FOR WORLD AIDS DAY IS “SHARED RESPONSIBILITY; STRENGTHENING RESULTS FOR  AN AIDS~FREE GENERATION “

Approximately one in six Batswana has HIV, giving Botswana the second highest infection rate in the WORLD,( you can imagine I have met some ignorant people who asked me if I have HIV/AIDS because of my country being the second highest in the world) after nearby Swaziland. The government recognizes that AIDS will affect the economy and is trying to combat the epidemic, including free anti-retroviral (ARV) drug treatment and a nation-wide Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission program.

Botswana has reduced HIV transmission from infected mothers to their children from about 40% to just 4%. To come from a highly infected and affected country in Africa I understand how stressful and hurting it is to have HIV/AIDS. This disease is not really a bad disease if you live a healthy lifestyle after finding out that you are infected, also the family support is so vital.

It doesn’t mean that you have to be infected to care about others who are infected because if you are not infected you are affected.

HERE ARE SOME FACTS ABOUT HIV/AIDS

★ HIV stands for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It is a virus which attacks the body’s immune system ~the body’s defence against diseases.

★ HIV can be passed on through infected bodily fluids, most commonly via sex without a condom or by sharing infected needles, syringes or other injecting drug equipment.

★ There are now more people than ever living with HIV in the in the world— with a quarter of those people are unaware they have the virus.

★ You can now get tested for HIV using a saliva sample in some already developed countries not in developing countries.

★ HIV is not passed on through spitting, biting or sharing utensils

★ You can get the results of an HIV test in just 15-20 minutes

★ There is no vaccine and no cure for HIV

In my Botswana the HIV/AIDS testing centres, hospitals and clinics offer free testing and if you are affected you get enrolled for ARV treatment.

PLEASE GO GET TESTED 😉 MANY HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T GET TESTED IN TIME.

Haters don’t really hate you. They hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be and they love you so much that its hard for them to say but envy you. In short we can just say they are your fans.

DREAMS ARE JUST NOT DREAMS

image

I was sleeping facing up and my arms across over my head and the devil was pulling me wanting me to go with him and I kept praying and praying it was a really big fight it even seemed real. I will pray and he will stop then when I stop he pulls me more times harder than he did at first it was so scary he was flipping me over trying his best to take me to his side I couldn’t I kept shouting burn in Jesus name and when he left my hand I would throw sand at him I couldn’t see his face nor body but the force that pulled me was too big and scary. The Lord saved me and this is not the first time.just saying his name and praying kept me from being pulled to hell. I am so thankful. I woke up with my arms a lil swollen  across my head and i was still praying.

This is just to remind you that the Lord is there, And I believe that but what surprises me is I never pray  when I go to bed and i haven’t been to church for almost a year now, but once the devil starts to attack me the only name that comes from my mouth is Jesus,I believe he saved me and he has a greater power than the devil.

Friends I have told, thinks it was just a dream but that’s not what my mind is telling me. That dream was real and I don’t dream every day, I dont know what it means but what I know is I am saved. I got saved and thank you Jesus and its not the first time you did save me but the third time now. 🙂
